Matthew has his cardiology follow up appointment yesterday & it went VERY good! His blood pressures matched in his feet and arms indicating his aorta is open and flowing well. He didn't have elevated blood pressure which was something they will watch for. They could hear his residual VSDs (holes in between his ventricles) but they are small and will eventually close on their own or become insignificant as he grows. He is gaining weight and growing and showing no signs of any problems! His next appointment isn't for another 1.5 years!!! At that time they will repeat an echo of his heart to double check everything. As for now, we have a healthy, happy little boy with absolutely no restrictions! We could not have asked for a better outcome to our visit :)

Weight: 26 lbs (69th percentile)
Height: 82 cm (79th percentile)
Also, he has new words now! He can say "Uh oh" and he has learned to say "all done" when he's finished eating. It's so cute to hear him talking! :)

Sweet! Does this mean we can wrestle? I'm glad your appointment went well and I hope you get over your cold soon so we can party.
